McKinley Paper’s Wisconsin Mill is seeking a strong Purchasing Coordinator to join its team. The Wisconsin Mill is part of McKinley Paper, a division of Bio Pappel. The Bio Pappel is a privately held paper and packaging manufacturer headquartered in Mexico City. Bio Pappel is comprised of three divisions: Titan, Scribe and McKinley. The Wisconsin Mill, which is the largest paper mill in the McKinley division, produces quality recycled containerboard, natural kraft packaging, bag, and printing & writing grades of paper. We have a rich history of innovation & manufacturing a diverse array of products from our Wisconsin manufacturing facility. or The Purchasing Coordinator’s primary responsibilities:  

• Assist with coordinating and driving the Company’s procurement and sourcing of goods and services. 
• Purchase materials and services from suppliers providing best value with consideration to quality, price, contracts, reliability and urgency of need.
• Responsible for the storeroom operation and the in-house availability of spare parts.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining storeroom items and locations
• Purchase and maintain inventories of raw materials and packaging to support manufacturing requirements. This runs the full gambit from identifying potential suppliers to requesting quotes to entering POs to managing inventory to tracking shipments as needed.
• Promptly handle requisitions to ensure stable supply and timely availability of materials. 
• Verify storeroom inventory accuracy and cycle count as needed. 
• Anticipate trends and plan for contingencies. 
• Initiate and cultivate business partnerships including fostering strong internal relationships.
• Collaborate with key people to ensure clear communication of the specifications and expectations for needed goods and services.
• Manage stores equipment/item repair (internal and external).
• Assist with Vendor Managed Inventory Programs.
• Resolve delivery and/or invoicing discrepancies.\
• Must be able to deal with multiple tasks that all have a sense of urgency.

Desired Qualifications:

· Paper manufacturing and MRO buying experience is highly desirable.

Organization Structure: Position reports to the Procurement Manager.

This position will work extensively with Operations, Maintenance, and Utilities. 

ERP: SAP experience is very helpful but not necessary.

Summary of the Operation and Location: McKinley operates a paper mill in Combined Locks, WI (near Appleton WI and only about 30 miles south of Green Bay and 100 miles north of Milwaukee). The facility is located on the southern shore of the Fox River and about 10 miles north of Lake Winnebago and High Cliff State park. Appleton and the surrounding area offer excellent schools, vibrant cultural and recreational opportunities

The mill has been in continuous operation since 1889. There are three paper machines with a capacity of about 400,000 tons of paper per year. The mill operates 24/7/365. The vast majority of our products are made from 100% pre- and post-consumer waste paper.
