THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Data Reliability Manager is primarily responsible for data trust across the Supply Chain
data product. This will be managed by focusing on the 5 pillars of data observability:
Freshness, Volume, Distribution, Schema, and Lineage. This includes data cataloging and
organization to help developers find the right data on demand. This person will act as a
liaison, stakeholder, and manager for projects with IT, Enterprise Data Governance,
Development resources and others to initiate new data sources and improve on existing
modeling and documentation. This person will manage multiple, overlapping projects to
improve the overall foundation of data utilized by the organization. This person must be able to prioritize tasks and proactively communicate priorities.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL OF THESE GOALS BY: 

1. Responsible for data trust across the data product
2. Works with IT, Data Governance, Development, and the Data Product Manager to
plan and test ETL's for new data sources
3. Key resource for model management and lineage knowledge share
4. Primary liaison with the Enterprise Data Governance team
5. Data Engineering stakeholder for all Supply Chain projects and Enterprise Data
Analytics projects
6. Create and manage a monitoring platform for data observability
7. Create and own a process for auditing reporting models in GCP to find and address
redundancies and potential discrepancies
8. Collaboration with Development resources on model development and bug resolution
9. Team will look for opportunities to improve overall scalability for the data products
10.Continuously look for improvements in data accuracy/validation for reporting
11.Potential to manage a team of Engineers

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: 

Minimum of 4 years direct work experience in data analytics, systems
administration, data governance, process improvement/best practices or 3
years of experience with an advanced degree.
BA/BS or equivalent
Experience building data models, reports and dashboards
Advanced SQL experience
Must be comfortable learning new software

Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines while using
analytical and problem solving capabilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment

PREFERRED OR SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Input all preferred skills in
order of importance)
Capability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms
Strong Process and system acumen
Experience with Data Governance
Knowledge of Supply Chain Sales & Operational Planning, DC Operations and
Transportation in a retail environment.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery
Knowledge of data visualizations tools i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Design Studio,
Looker, or other front end visualization tools
Python experience
Data Warehouse Development experience
Working knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS suite of tools
Working knowledge of Oracle databases
Working knowledge of MySQL databases
Knowledge of SAP applications
Knowledge of SAP HANA applications
Knowledge of IBM Cognos / SCI applications
WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel – Minimal ~ 5%
Ability to work long hours and weekends during critical periods.
