Job description
South East Wales Biodiversity Records Centre (SEWBReC) is the ALERC-accredited Local Environmental Records Centre (LERC) serving south east Wales. SEWBReC is part of the network of four Welsh LERCs which, since 2015, has worked collaboratively via the consortium company Local Environmental Records Centres Wales Ltd.
SEWBReC and the other Welsh LERCs play a critical role in the provision of the Welsh biodiversity evidence base. We are highly regarded and respected for the quality of products and services we provide and benefit from the strong support of a wide range of public sector and NGO funding partners, a large pool of loyal commercial customers and, critically, a strong local wildlife recording community. We have a small and friendly team of dedicated staff whose efforts are rewarded via a sector-leading package of pay and benefits (including Vitality private medical insurance).
