A family of four based in Thatcham, West Berkshire, RG19 are now looking for a new long-term live out housekeeper to join their family home. Due to the location, you should have your own car. Package Offered £24,000 - £25,000 gross per year depending on experience Great salary progression and bonuses Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm Family Background The family have twin girls who are 6 years old. They are looking for a new long-term housekeeper to join their family home. They live in a beautiful four-bedroom home and have two medium-sized dogs and a hamster. They are keen to find a committed and long-term candidate. Duties You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house. You will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, and ensuring that the home is generally well presented and cared for. You should understand that family life is busy, and be willing to do errands and house management around the daily duties of the household. You should be happy to be around dogs and help look after the family dogs with feeding and going for walks. You should be happy to put meals into the oven, and if you enjoy cooking this is a bonus but not required. An eye for detail is a must. Ideally, you should be able to house-sit when the parents are away to look after the dogs and the house. This will be paid extra. The family are warm, friendly and easy-going and their previous staff have all stayed long-term with the family, so they are looking for a kind and wonderful new member of staff to join their family home. Location The family live in Thatcham, West Berkshire, RG19. This is a live out role. You should be able to drive and have your own car in order to commute to the property. Days/Hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm. If you work any additional hours (when agreed in advance) this would be covered as overtime or time off in lieu. Languages You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family. Special Skills You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail in relation to housekeeping.
