Service Care Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for nurses to join our team in assisting consultants and the clinical team in all aspects of ophthalmic care! The role will find you being responsible for admission and discharge of patients on theatre days, as well as pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.

Location: Wolverhampton
Job Type: Ophthalmic Theatre Scrub Nurse
Contract: Permanent (37.5hrs per week)
Pay Rate: £30k - £40.5k (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities - Prepare all areas prior to clinical activities and check equipment is ready for use.
- Ensure the correct storage of all equipment, as well as assisting with stock control.
- Administer medication in accordance with the NMC guidelines.
- Follow correct procedure in reporting accidents and incidents, while adhering to GDPR regulations.

Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical/hospital setting post registration
- NMC Registered General Nurse with Scrub Experience
- Experience working with the CQC and within the private healthcare sector.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a larger team, with excellent communication skills.
