Job description
We have an opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join a small animal in Buckingham with a staff of 6 Veterinary Surgeons 5 FTE, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and a Veterinary Care Assistant.
Hours
- Ideally working up to 20 hours per week across 2/3 days with a 1:4 Saturday morning
- 1 in 4 Saturday morning
- No OOHs
- Full time, part time and flexible working can all be considered for this role
Applicant Requirements
- Ability to work sole charge
- Good clinical, inter-personal and communication skills
- Capable of handling more complicated consultations and cases
- Competent surgical skills (e.g. Caesarean section, pyometra)
- The desire and ability to improve and progress your skills further in general first opinion practice it doesn't have to be mundane and can be fun, rewarding and very fulfilling!
Salary and Benefits
- Up to £75,000 DOE
- Up to £5,000 pro rata welcome bonus and up to £5,000 pro rata relocation allowance
