Job description

Are you an enthusiastic Depot Manager ready to join our team and lead our North East depot to success?

Our Depot Managers are the face of our business and the front line of our customer interaction , ensuring their every need is catered for and every question answered .

What will you do?

• Take full responsibility for your designated depot with regards to Sales and Operations
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members including engineers and drivers, ensuring the depot and customer service standards are maintained in line with company’s expectations.
• Be serious about safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety issues promptly.
• Foster a positive work environment, train, motivate and develop your team members to deliver outstanding results.
• Provide excellent communication to customers and stakeholders, strive to improve customer satisfaction, and build strong customer relationships.
• Monitor and manage stock levels by undertaking assets checks, stock transfers and item inventory.

What you will bring?

The successful candidate will have experience in direct management with excellent customer service skills. You will have experience of managing depot/branch operations whilst maximising business development opportunities and exceeding KPIs.

You will use your strong IT skills and be self-motivated whilst also being able to liaise and communicate effectively with all levels of staff. You will need a clean driving license for this role due to potential travel to other depots.

Experience working on in Power Generation rental market is desirable but not essential.
