Area Sales Manager - Northwest England

Covering: Blackburn, Bradford, Bolton, Chester, Crewe, Oldham, Stockport, Stoke on Trent, Shrewsbury, Telford, Warrington, Wigan

I have a great opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer and distributor within the electrical industry who supply to the electrical wholesale market.
They are looking for a professional, self-motivated, and passionate person with drive and ambition to cover the Southeast area.

The ideal person should have a successful sales history in an Area Sales role with previous experience selling for a manufacturer with responsibility for Wholesale and Contractor accounts. You must be financially and commercially astute with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
The role:
• To develop and implement sales strategy within the wholesale/contractor market
• Establish strong working relationships with existing key customer accounts and work closely with these customers to effectively service their requirements and identify areas for mutual profitable growth.
• Maximise sales opportunities and proactively seek new business
• Make customers aware to new product launches and promotions
• Monitor, plan and take appropriate action to ensure sales targets within your area
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Liaise and collaborate with Sales Director, Area Sales Managers, and internal departments.

Salary basic circa £40- £48k depending on experience plus car, bonus, and benefits.
