Job description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Oncologists to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in offering hope and improving the quality of life of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and stage cancer in patients, using the latest medical technologies and procedures.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient health, preferences, and the latest research and treatment methods.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring all aspects of patient care are addressed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing detailed explanations of treatment options, potential side effects, and prognostic outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing research and clinical trials to continue advancing the field of oncology.
- Maintain detailed records of patient care, treatments, and progress.
- Provide education and support to junior doctors and other healthcare staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, followed by specialized training in Oncology.
- Valid GMC registration.
- Proven experience in the field of oncology, with a minimum of 3 years in a clinical setting.
- Strong commitment to patient care and a patient-centred approach to treatment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in clinical research and trials.
