Role: Commercial Manager – Project Management Specialist Location: Midlands / North West / Staffordshire / Manchester / Birmingham / Coventry Hybrid, working from home and nearest office location, with travel Salary : £65,000 - £70,000, plus car or car allowance Executive Network Group have been retained with a leading utilities business, who are seeking a Commercial Manager, with a strong work history in project management to join the team, following an internal promotion. Reporting to Head of Commercial, this role will be responsible for; the development and implementation of commercial controls, delivering the business outcomes for the sector, in terms of commercial, financial, regulatory and compliance performance measures. What you’ll get to work on: Supporting the development and maintenance of project delivery plans. Drive delivery to meet projected outcomes whilst managing risks, dependencies, and constraints. Escalate as appropriate. Preparing and communicating consolidated status reports to the relevant governance and wider stakeholders, including, milestone progress, risk management, financial reporting (if applicable) and change requests. Developing and embedding effective sustaining measures to ensure successful delivery of the business benefits associated with each project. Ensuring activities are successfully delivered and managed within budget. Utilising accurate data to drive initiatives to improve performance. Designing, driving, and ensuring delivery to key improvement initiatives, championing knowledge share and continual improvement throughout. Managing, developing, and engaging teams to deliver objectives compliantly. Thinking strategically and having strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. A great communicator and effective collaborator with strong influencing skills. Identifying, analysing, and interpreting relevant data to drive departmental direction aligning to wider strategies. Creating improved working practices through identifying transformational department needs, collaborating with wider organisational initiatives. Solving complex issues using multiple tools and techniques. Managing multiple demands/projects and delivering to deadlines. Who are we looking for: Degree or equivalent in a commercial discipline and relevant commercial / contract experience. Strong understanding of Commercial processes. Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures. Good understanding of operational work activities.
