Job description
Skillsearch is helping a gaming studio find a Senior Character Artist to work on a remote basis. This full-time role comes with a favourable salary and benefits.
As a Senior Character Artist, you will collaborate closely with concept, rigging, animation and game design teams to ensure Character Art meets game design and technical requirements.
In your first week in this Character Artist role, you can expect to:
- Create realistic high-quality real-time characters
- Create clean game topology, UVs and textures
- Implement and set up characters in Unreal Engine 5.
To apply for this Senior Character Artist role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Character Artist. You will also require the following:
- Experience working on at least one realistic-style AAA title
- Proven ability across all aspects of character modelling, including anatomical, cloth and hard-surface modelling
- Extensive knowledge of 3D packages, preferably Maya
- Advanced sculpting skills using ZBrush
- Experience in texturing with Substance Painter.
