Maintenance Engineer

Full time, Permanent Excellent Benefits + Prospects +Overtime/Fantastic Pension Scheme We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer, to be part of a small engineering team in maintaining and repairing all plant and machinery whilst ensuring the requisite health, safety and GMP requirements are upheld.
The primary function of this role is to carry out multi-skilled maintenance tasks, with a bias towards mechanical maintenance.
As a Maintenance Engineer your job will require you to: - Perform electro-mechanical repairs to a PLC-controlled plant, handling and conveying equipment, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and problem analysis on various equipment
- Ensuring that the equipment is set optimally and that the IT interfaces are functional.
- Provide support to the engineering team in carrying out maintenance tasks efficiently
About you as the Maintenance Engineer:
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLC controlled plant equipment
- Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer Skills
- Quality focused,conscientious and self-motivated
47.5 hrs, Days Mon-Fri Role
The role will involve covering the weekly night shift up to 6 occasions a year.
