Hygiene Manager Up to £40,000 South Lincolnshire We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Hygiene Manager to join our dynamic team in South Lincolnshire. This pivotal role involves working a flexible 5 from 7 shift pattern, predominantly between the hours of 18:00-06:00, ensuring their production area maintains the highest standards of hygiene to uphold food safety.
Your Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all hygiene-related activities within the production area, aligning with industry standards and food safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the Hygiene system, ensuring compliance with customer codes of practice, BRC, and other auditing standards.
- Regularly inspect equipment and facilities, ensuring adherence to rigorous cleaning schedules.
- Manage stock levels and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Provide comprehensive training and support to the hygiene team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure the department meets all requirements for third-party audits, BRC standards, and GMP.
Who You Are: - Experienced in a hygiene management role within the FMCG sector, ideally within the food industry.
- Proficient in Food Hygiene, HACCP principles, and knowledgeable about Auditing, Pest Control, and Allergen awareness.
- Adept in managing resources, budgets, and capital expenditures efficiently.
- IT literate with strong skills in Word, Excel, and relevant software.
- An excellent communicator with a strong command of written and spoken English.
