Job description
To provide a high standard Rheumatology Physiotherapy service to patients at Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust. To performing advanced assessment of adult and paediatric patients including those with highly complex presentations. To formulate diagnoses and treatment plans, as an autonomous practitioner. To undertake line manager duties for the team, support and supervise more junior staff. To work alongside the Outpatient Therapy Manager, Rheumatology Occupational Therapist and the wider Rheumatology medical team in planning, co-coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service. To be instrumental in the on-going development of services and practices providing high quality care and interventions. To carry out special duties associated with the post (eg overseeing recruitment to Band 6 rotation, representing the therapy service at various forums).
