Due to expansion our client situated in Stockport are looking for an experienced Carton Gluer and Machine Setter to join their team.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift and Schedule: 12-hour shift
Location: Stockport

Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain carton gluing machines to ensure efficient production processes.
* Set up machines according to job specifications, including adjusting settings and calibrating equipment.
* Monitor machine performance throughout production runs and make necessary adjustments to optimize output quality and efficiency.
* Inspect finished cartons for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet customer requirements and company standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Skills:
* Mechanical aptitude and experience operating and maintaining carton gluing machines.
* Ability to interpret job specifications and set up machines accordingly.
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for equipment adjustments and maintenance tasks.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, preferably in a packaging or printing industry.

Salary Range: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

12 hour shifts working a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

Supplemental Pay Types:
* Performance bonus
* Yearly bonus

Experience:
* Previous experience as a Carton Gluer Setter or similar role is required.
