Senior Software Engineer(Java)

About the teams.
We adopt the Customer journey approach in which each team is taking ownership of distinct stages such as creating awareness, findability, assortment, pricing, deciding to buy, etc.
We foster an experimentation culture enabling teams to conduct experiments on our platform and pilot innovative ideas.
Each team has end-to-end ownership of their customer journey, enabling them to define and directly impact the end user experience and value delivery.
Teams mainly work with Java and, in some cases, Golang, and React (as FullStack) within a fully cloud-based environment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Who you are:
What will help you be successful in this role?
Openness to engage in continuous learning and agility in addressing business challenges.
Solid experience with the Java ecosystem (5+ years).
Experience working with Spring Boot.
Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably in GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
Comfortable with using different types of storage: relational, NoSQL DBs.
Experience building scalable and well-tested APIs.
You’ve worked following a full-development cycle (and ready to do so).
Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and adaptability in building connections with people from diverse backgrounds.
Excel conceptual thinking and a proactive approach to decision-making, taking ownership to ensure project success.
Experienced working in Agile teams and environments.
Experienced working on large web platforms.
Experienced working in CI/CD environments.
Nice to have:
Experience working with Data Engineering.
You are familiar with the Front End part and worked specifically with React.js.
Expertise working with Golang and openness working with it.
Proficiency in utilizing Elasticsearch.
