Job description
Our Ethics Guidance team are currently seeking to recruit a permanent qualified Solicitor as an Ethics Adviser.
The role
Ethics Advisers (Solicitor) have a pivotal role in providing expert technical and professional guidance on the rules that govern solicitors’ conduct and assist solicitors in applying these to their situation.
In this role, you will provide first contact risk-based guidance to the profession via correspondence, web chat and telephone on many queries on a wide variety of subjects. You will investigate and make decisions on applications to remove residual balances from a firm’s client account. You will also investigate and draft insightful reports on applications to waive SRA rules and make recommendation as to the outcome.
The work of an Ethics Adviser will suit someone who enjoys a problem solving and thrives on delivering outstanding customer service and quality results. Taking ownership of your queries you will consistently achieve the highest performance standards. You will enjoy being part of a team that is skilled in knowledge sharing and known for its energetic team ethos.
