Home Instead Watford is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, primarily focusing on providing care and support in the mornings. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, enabling them to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. This position requires empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the well-being of others.
Morning shifts to suit the client’s needs will be between the hours of 08:00 – 14:15.

Job Description
Your Role and Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients in accordance with their individual care plans, always ensuring dignity and respect
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas, laundry, and light cleaning, to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for clients
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in caregiving practices and techniques
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful social activities, promoting mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance
Qualifications
