Field based Remote Role, Travelling required.

Job Description

As a Sustainability Co-ordinator you will have excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm. 

• Develop and deliver sustainability education sessions within schools with pupils aged 4-18 years, including virtual and pre-recorded education sessions.  
• Design and deliver new approaches that enhance the education and curriculum support we offer to each school/contract.  
• Conduct our environmental assessment of school's kitchen and dining area, providing guidance to our teams on improvement areas.  
• Support the delivery of our sustainability training programme and identify opportunities for expansion.  
• Support the Sustainability Manager with the sustainability programme, working on food waste, plastic, packaging, resource management, palm oil and sustainable diets. 
• Support the Sustainability Manager with delivery of reporting and analysis. 
• Work to ensure schools are implementing the sustainability programme and policies by adopting sustainable practices.  
• Implement innovative solutions to improve the sustainability of operations. 
• Support the Sustainability Manager, Food Development team and other areas of the business regarding client queries regarding day-to-day operations. 
• Support the Marketing team through delivering the sustainability social media content.  
• Support client/pupil workshops and roadshows. 

• Communicate internally and externally for the business. 

Travel to 4 sites per week on average to deliver key responsibilities 

Qualifications

As a  Sustainability Co-ordinator you will ...

• Have  a passion for and knowledge of sustainability. 

• BSc degree, preferably in Sustainability, Environmental Management or Geography. 

• Preferably some experience working and teaching pupils/students. 

• Must have a valid driving license.
