ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Contracts & Commercial Manager with solid experience of working on social housing reactive repairs and maintenance contracts.
The Contracts and Commercial Manager will:
• lead and develop a small team of maintenance surveyors
• be responsible for ensuring timescales, service standards and budget constraints are met.
• be responsible for delivering all commercial operations within the repairs and maintenance service
• manage the delivery of the in-house void property repairs process
• build excellent relationships with other business functions, customers, contractors and the supply chain
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate should be committed to achieving project goals, while delivering value for money and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and will have:
• knowledge of property maintenance processes
• a proven track record of delivering reactive maintenance contracts, achieving performance targets and strategic growth.
• a strong financial acumen and be able to efficiently manage financial aspects, such as contractor and supplier relationships, budgeting and cost control.
• experience in analysing financial data, identifying cost-saving and new business opportunities and implementing effective cost control measures.
• effective leadership and communication skills.
