Job description
My client is an exciting fintech company looking for an experienced Global Head of People to support their strategic growth plans, and people and development needs. This role will be on a full-time permanent role, based in the companies London office, working on a hybrid basis and reporting into the CEO. Kindly note, the client is only considering candidates who have previous experience in a Head of People role in a start-up or scale up global fintech company.
The key role responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the full global HR function, and adding value from a people perspective, with a continuous improvement approach
- Develop and implement the strategy for the company’s talent and employee proposition in line with the business plan, collaborating with senior leadership.
- Implementing and updating company policies and procedures in line with UK and international employment law
- Developing an employee-orientated culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, teamwork, high performance, and quality.
- Providing support, guidance, and advice to line managers within the business, on all HR related matters, including performance management and probation reviews
- Working at a very fast pace with lots of ambiguity and change
- Overseeing and managing all compliance and international mobility aspects of the workforce, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with UK legislation.
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum 5+ years working within a senior HR leadership position
- Experience working in a start-up / scale up environment in Fintech is necessary
- Thrives in an autonomous work environment
- CIPD qualified or a similar qualification
- Strategic thinker with proven experience in adding value to a company
- Impeccable stakeholder management skills
- Tech savvy, with experience in implementing HRIS, and advanced excel skills.
- Experience of setting up international offices and entities would be an advantage
