Live-in Introduced Carer needed for placement in Surrey from 07/05/2024 on-going. Ref 100179
- Care for a couple.
- Husband has cardiovascular disease and undiagnosed but advanced dementia.
- Husband is self-caring with personal care but needs close supervision and close supervision with his mobility, although he mobilises unaided.
- There are night calls as the dog wakes the husband up and he needs guiding back to bed.
- The wife has Discitis, high blood pressure and is almost blind. She also has mobility issues, cognitive decline and memory issues.
- The wife needs help with all personal care and wears pads for urinary incontinence.
- The wife mobilises with sticks and doesn’t need help when transferring.
- Experience of looking after a couple with differing care needs and dementia is required.
- Non driving.
- Pets - Dog.
Free board & accommodation whilst on assignment. Night call charge & negotiated travel expenses.
