Job description
You’re an experienced Planner/Buyer - a supply chain professional who has experience within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
You’ve proven yourself to be a strong communicator, you’re results-oriented with a proven track record of delivering solutions. You have a natural ability to influence a variety of colleagues and the capability to drive value from analytics, develop and support the continual purchasing and planning objectives.
As part of this role youll be:
Sourcing suppliers
Achieving cost reduction
Developing Supplier relationships
Managing Materials
Planning & Forecasting
Negotiating contracts
Ideally, youll have:
Knowledge of buying and planning
Strong commercial/business acumen.
A team player mentality, be able to work with a small team and build strong and collaborative relationships across the whole business.
Excellent communication skills
Good negotiation and persuasion skills. Ability to convince others and influence outcomes
Agility and flexibility
Strong problem analysis, judgement and decision-making skills.
