Veterinary Nurse (Part Time) - West Midlands

• Generous benefits package including a salary of up to £29,000 pro-rata

Our client is seeking a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of general veterinary nursing duties, including monitoring anaesthetics, caring for sick animals, administering medications, conducting x-rays, performing blood tests, and conducting nurse consultations.

The practice is ideally situated in the West Midlands, offering excellent connectivity to various destinations across the country. You will have easy access to stunning places such as the Peaks, the Lakes, the Cotswolds, and the coast, all within a 3-hour drive or less. Additionally, the vibrant city of Birmingham is just a short 30-minute car or train journey away. If you appreciate the outdoors, the picturesque countryside is readily accessible in all directions.

Our client's practice was established in 2013 and is exclusively dedicated to small animals. They are equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, including a high-quality ultrasound machine, multi-parameter monitoring devices, and digital x-ray technology (including dental). Notably, they have achieved silver cat-friendly status from the ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic. The practice features a well-equipped prep area at its core, complete with separate dog and cat wards, an operating theatre, and an x-ray/ultrasound room. There are also three consulting rooms with convenient access to a dispensary and a fully-equipped lab area that includes the complete IDEXX Blood machine range and a microscope.

Our client places a strong emphasis on teamwork and a positive working environment. They are a tight-knit team that takes pleasure in working together. Currently, their team comprises of three Veterinary Surgeons, four Registered Veterinary Nurses, and three Client Care Coordinators.

The Role:
• Part Time role - 24 hour week
• Participation in an evening shift rota
• Saturday morning rota
• No OOH
