Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Reading/Warrington - 12 Month Contract
£60-75 Per hour (DOE) - Umbrella
Hybrid (1 day in office per week)

Our client are seeking a talented Manufacturing engineer manager to lead a team of design/development/production specialists and technical support to manufacturing process areas, programme and/or project managers throughout the client's organisation. You will deliver and manage process equipment design, development and introduction of best manufacturing practice in terms of productivity, reliability, innovation and quality to the workplace.

Accountabilities
·Deliver the required level of support of new/current processes and/or equipment within designated area of responsibility
·Lead and manage a team to successful delivery of team and personal objectives safely and securely
·Fulfil any additional accountabilities for this role that may be defined and appointed by the senior engineering manager
Responsibilities
·Deliver or assist in delivering the delivery of the introduction of new processes/equipment by delivering the agreed objectives/milestones and associated technical specifications and documentation in accordance with the client organisation and regulator standards and processes
·Establish and record customer and process requirements including the production of configuration documentation in accordance with the appropriate procedures and legislation.
·Advise as the SME for tooling/equipment/process configuration documentation
·Liaise with key stakeholders, project teams and management, ensuring appropriate communication of project/programme status including any changes, risks, issues and opportunities, escalating if required
·Undertake investigations of facilities and processes with the aim of improving productivity,
·quality, and/or resolving problems
·Promote and sponsor operational excellence and a high performing team by working effectively as a team player with others and encouraging individual growth
Skills & Experience
·Background in manufacturing or engineering with a knowledge and understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes
·Experience of successfully managing projects across teams
·Working appreciation of financial and business requirements
·Knowledge or understanding of the nuclear licence conditions
·Fully fluent in BIM/CAD software, modelling software and MS Office packages
