Financial Controller (Management Accountant)

Wigan

£50,000 to £60,000 Salary DOE + Performance Related Bonus + 20 Days Holiday (Rising with service) + Bank Holidays + Pension + Health Insurance + Life Insurance

Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00

Financial Controller required for a successful manufacturer who are industry leaders within the caravan industry. This is a great opportunity to play an integral role within a secure company with an impressive 80-year history. This role offers exciting and significant long term career progression opportunities for the right candidate, including promotion to Finance Manager with a view to Finance Directorship

To apply for this role with will be ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent) and hold experience working within a manufacturing environment or similar. You will also hold experience in a senior or managerial level position as the role will involve overseeing two members of staff within the finance team.

This is a broad financial position and will report directly to the MD. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and account reconciliations.

The Financial Controller Role:

· Production of monthly management accounts

· Balance sheet reconciliations

· Account reconciliations

· Budget and cashflow forecasting

· BOM costings

· Stock valuations

· Manage purchase ledger and sales ledger

· Manage credit control

· Oversee submissions to HMRC

· Manage a team of 2

The Financial Controller Candidate:

· ACCA / CIMA qualified or similar

· Experience in a manufacturing environment or similar
