Job description
We are currently seeking a talented and self-motivated Internal Sales Representative to join an extremely reputable SME business based in Coalville The ideal candidate will be innovative and passionate professional, who can effectively work with a growing team of external sales representatives.
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for all sales activities within customers and prospects throughout the region, managing and growing customer spend through product penetration. You will be speaking to customers and prospects as their internal point of contact, developing sales pipelines, closing deals and managing Face to face schedules for the external sales team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with our clients professionally and confidently with a proficient telephone manner
- Prioritise your own work and that of others to ensure tasks are completed on time and customers dealt with promptly
- Be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Account management; manage, protect and maintain existing customer spend into multiple touchpoints and influencers within the account including C-suite
- Continually explore new areas for growth, margin, upsell and cross-sell
- Manage opportunity pipeline
- Ensure data is accurately recorded and updated on CRM and systems
- Work closely with the Field Sales Reps and Sales Coordinators following F2F visits and customer enquiries to ensure timely processing and follow up of quotations, sample requests etc
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and decisively
- Take leadership within the region, Grow your own sales
- Promote the company brand with integrity
- Always be learning, commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge of products, customers, processes and the industry
Requirements
- Proven Sales Experience within a product related environment (B2B sales)
- Customer focussed with a pro-active approach
- Commercially orientated sales hunter
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills (Microsoft packages)
- Time management/ability to work under pressure and strong organisational skills
- Able to prioritise your own work and that of others to ensure tasks are completed on time and customers dealt with promptly
- Able to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Office Based
