Payroll & People Advisor

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Payroll & People Advisor for a Fixed Term, Full-Time position with our client based in Chelmsford. Offering a competitive salary of up to £28,432 per annum, this role provides a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional payroll services.

Fixed Term Position Until: 30th June 2024

Role Overview: As a Payroll & People Advisor, you will play a pivotal role within the People and Transformation function, influencing both customer and employee experiences. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality payroll services, resolving queries, and ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate data input to administer payments and deductions.
• Resolving complex payroll queries within agreed timelines.
• Processing payroll transactions and generating payments.
• Maintaining data integrity and security in line with regulations.
• Collaborating effectively within a team to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Providing professional and timely customer support.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required:

• Educated to RQF level 3 (GCSE) or equivalent.
• Continuing professional development in relevant areas.
• Experience with payroll systems and processes.
• Good understanding of statutory payments, deductions, and pension schemes.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide policy advice.
