About the Role Commis Chef at Aster & Thyme, Newcastle Airport Rate of pay – starting from £11.65 per hour - regardless of age. £12.85 if you work between midnight and 06:00am Share of tips - earn up to £150 per month! Our team at Aster & Thyme, Newcastle Airport are looking for full time, energetic, skilled and competent Commis Chefs, who are looking to progress in their hospitality career. We will give you the opportunity to work in a great team, learn on-job and progress in the industry as far as you dream. We need someone with a passion for food! In the kitchen you will be working in a team in a medium sized kitchen, flexible with your hours, working hours between 02:00 am and 00:00 am. We pride ourselves on ensuring a great work/life balance, with days off together where possible and no split shifts. Due to some responsibilities within the Commis Chef role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts. Successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations
