Job description

One of the UK's largest law firms is currently recruiting for a Risk Analyst, tasked with identifying and analysing areas of potential risk threatening the firm's success, with responsibility for predicting change and future trends as well as forecasting cost to the organisation.

Offering a salary of circa £31,000 plus excellent benefits including generous and flexible pension schemes, critical illness cover, and discounted gym membership, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performance team. Full-time permanent role offering flexible working options, the role can be remote however occasional meetings with the Finance, Risk & Procurement team at the company's Northwest, Midlands or Yorkshire offices will be required.

The Role
As a Risk Analyst, you'll build productive and understanding relationships in order to deliver the Risk Management Framework, providing timely analysis and insight to enable the firm to appropriately manage its key risks in an effective and efficiency manner. Responsibilities will include…
- Support the running of risk forums, maintaining the risk registers and leading discussion on key risk issues and emerging risks
- Developing and implementing the Risk Management framework, policies, procedures and tools
- Acting as a key point of engagement and reference for colleagues with regards to reporting risks and issues.
- Developing strong relationship with key risk stakeholders on all aspects of risk management and best practice
- Supporting with the production of Risk reporting for relevant risk committees, including the provision of high-quality insight and analysis on a range of MI and risk management information.

The Candidate
As a key member of the Risk team you will be a calm and positive problem solver, able to operate in a highly changeable environment in a collaborative manner, with great people and stakeholder management skills. Some previous experience within a Risk Management setting would be preferred, with key skills including…
- IT competency with experience using databases and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong numeracy, analytical, research and strategy skills
- Able to explain complex issues and present technical information clearly
- Ability to manage priorities and adapt quickly to change
- Experience in constructively challenging and influencing others
