Job description

Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role.

Location: Stowmarket

Pay Rate: £24.58 - £25.58per hour (assignment rate)

Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract

Shift Pattern: Full time

Duties:

• Support with the review and management of the waiting list in the South Community Mental Health Team
• Case review, telephone calls and face to face reviews with service users experiencing complex mental health challenges within a secondary mental health service
• Completion of documentation, CPA/NCPA reviews, section 117 reviews, ward rounds, attendance at MDT meetings and ensuring safety planning, along with safe discharge from services

Requirements of theSenior Community Mental Health Practitioner:

• Registration as a qualified Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapy
• Sound risk assessment and clinical decision making skills
• Assessment skills relating to complex mental health presentations
• The ability to confidently administer depot medication
• Knowledge of the CPA process
• Experience of working within Adult Community Mental Health Teams is desirable
