We have currently have an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our Social Housing Decarbonisation Project Team on a Secondment or Fixed term basis until 31st August 2025.

Key qualifications / knowledge:

• Relevant surveying/building/property related qualification to a minimum of HNC level and/or relevant surveying/building/property related experience (minimum of 2 years).
• Good level of surveying knowledge.
• Knowledge of Energy Efficiency Measures.
• Sound working knowledge of construction and building installation works.
• Experience of working with contractors and undertaking site inspections/snagging reports.
• The written and oral communication skills required to effectively liaise with stakeholders, customers, third parties and colleagues at every level and through a range of mediums.

The successful candidate will cover a varied workload as part of the SHDF Wave 2 project team, acting as the project teams Site Supervisor/Clerk of Works responsible for the oversight and management of accredited installers for energy efficiency measures improvements of the Council Housing stock. The successful candidate will be largely based on site to ensure the effective monitoring and management of contractor works in line with SHDF, PAS2035 and Trustmark requirements.

The post holder will also have experience of undertaking pre, mid and post install inspections of domestic properties including defect analysis, quality control, contractor management, snagging and producing early warning notice documents and reports for the Project Manager.
