Job description
Venn Group is currently working with a Large Housing Association who are recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor Manager on a permanent contract, located in West and North West London.
The duties will include:
- Manager of a team of 7 multi trade operatives delivering reactive maintenance
- Liaising with housing management, caretaking and planning and scheduling teams
- Taking ownership of developing capability and ongoing professional development of the individuals in the team
- Making decisions in regards to recruitment
- Meeting both financial and customer related targets
- Managing contractors and meeting regularly with commercial teams reporting any relevant information on performance
- Clear and Concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deliver KPIs and manage budgets
- Passion for inclusive working practices
- Brilliant Customer Service
- Able to motivate others to deliver under pressure
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience working in a similar role within Social Housing/Local Authority
- Driving Licence
- Good understanding of Health and Safety including knowledge of Asbestos, Fire and Hygiene
