Job description
Experienced Regulatory Solicitor (c. 2-6 PQE) opportunity available to join a Business Crime & Regulatory team which represents professionals, corporate clients, and individuals across the country on a range of high quality and complex matters.
The successful candidate will need to have experience of Regulatory work, and in particular Fitness to Practice cases, including:
- Offering guidance on the procedure for disciplinary proceedings
- Preparing for interviews and assisting with drafting written representations and responses
- Advising on legal challenges and appeals made against a regulatory decision
- Providing legal support for those facing penalties and disqualification
About you:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with around 2-6 years’ relevant Post-Qualification Experience.
- The ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Criminal, Fitness to Practice and Regulatory law, practices and procedures.
- Experience in preparing cases at all levels of court and tribunals in connection with Criminal and Regulatory matters.
- A proven ability to deal with complex cases and in-depth investigatory work.
- A skilled communicator who can develop connections and build trust.
- Experience of all areas of Statutory Licence work would be advantageous.
