Lead Telecoms Engineer for an Offshore Carbon Storage Project for an initial 6 month contract role that has an immediate start

FULLY REMOTE WORKING Job Description Lead Telecommunications Engineer experienced in multi-discipline engineering teams on mainly oil & gas industry green field / brown field projects. Projects ranging from conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design to complete installations.
The engineer should have successful delivery experience in telecommunications systems developing client technical requirements into commercial design solutions. Telecommunications systems including:
Aeronautical navigation and communications systems
CCTV systems.
Data networks.
Marine navaids and communications systems.
Optical fibre communications systems.
Public address and general alarm systems.
Radio systems
Satellite communications systems
Hands-on project experience in designing telecommunications solutions for offshore or Onshore is essential.
Experienced in developing philosophies, specifications, block drawings, and datasheets for all systems. Experienced in supporting the development of drawings, layouts, cable routing drawings, Cable Schedules, Interconnection & Termination diagrams, Telecom Installation drawings, the scope of works, and RFQs & Material Requests.
Experienced in the review of telecommunications vendor documentation and interfacing between package vendors. Experience in design experience on a green field project preferred.
Awareness of National, International standards, Shell Oil company standards and awareness of IEC, IMO, ICAO, BSI, ETSI, UKOOA, NORSOK, and ANATEL.
