Invenia Group has partnered with an exciting start-up that specialises in genomic software. They support clients in hospitals, research institutions and pharma to address big data challenges in genomic healthcare and precision medicine.
This a progressive and mission-driven company who are currently expanding following additional funding.
The Role
- This role will work in partnership with engineering, quality, and commercial teams as well as end users. The main responsibility is writing documentation that helps users understand what the technology does and how to use it.
- This is a hybrid role with 3 days working from home and 2 days in the Cambridge office.
Responsibilities
- Writing, reviewing and updating documentation of the company’s genomic data platform and customer projects.
- Documentation includes user guides, manuals, training material, presentations, website content, blogs, scientific publications, white papers, press releases and case studies etc.
- You will need to take technical documents and make them user-friendly e.g. QA documentation
- There will be opportunities to present at conferences and workshops
- Contribute to the product design lifecycle from a documentation perspective
What we are looking for
- PhD in Genomics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related subject
- Must have 3+ years of experience working with bioinformatics tools and databases for genomic-related applications.
- Must have experience writing documentation, papers, presentations
