Project Manager – Construction
Projects up to 12M New Build
Wiltshire Area

75–80K + car allowance + contributory pension + life cover + 25 days holiday plus bank holiday

As Project Manager you will be running a new build commercial 12M project in the Wiltshire area.

You will be running a direct employed team as well as subcontractors.

Your duties will include:

• Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate activities with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.

• Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

• Budget Management:

  • Monitor project costs and expenses to stay within budget.
  • Track and report financial performance against project goals.

• Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and address any issues or concerns.

• Contract Administration:

  • Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and specifications.

• Quality Control:

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.

• Problem Solving:

  • Address and resolve project issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement solutions to keep the project on track.

• Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and progress reports.
  • Keep records of all project–related communications and decisions.

• Client Relations:

  • Foster positive relationships with clients and address their concerns.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within scope.

• Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.

• Schedule Management:

  • Monitor and adjust project schedules as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of project milestones.
