Job description
Do you possess prior experience in Operational Technology (OT) or are you currently engaged in a role centred around , Risk Management, or Systems Engineering, coupled with exposure to OT Security?
If any of the above applies to you, I’d be keen to chat. This role encompasses hands-on involvement as well as direct interaction with clients, managing risks and fortifying vulnerabilities within this critical domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for OT projects for clients.
- Oversee subcontracted work for OT projects involving third-party suppliers.
- Develop and execute site surveys to facilitate clients in identifying their OT systems.
- Conduct assessments for system and network security compliance to identify vulnerabilities in OT environments.
- Facilitate risk assessments to evaluate and mitigate vulnerabilities within OT environments.
- Formulate OT policies and procedures to aid clients in minimizing security breach risks and maintaining OT security.
- Manage audits and gap analyses to assess client compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring sustained protection against security incidents.
- Implement remediation strategies for OT to address gaps and ensure alignment with policies and standards.
- Offer comprehensive OT security guidance to assist clients in tackling OT security concerns, thereby ensuring secure and uninterrupted production operations.
- Resolve OT-related issues faced by clients.
Desired Skills:
- Proven track record as a Consultant within various OT environments across diverse industries such as Energy, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and related sectors.
- Prior experience leading assessments or evaluations of OT environments, including execution of assessments, results analysis, and preparation of comprehensive reports for key stakeholders.
- Familiarity with evaluating and assessing large organizations in terms of OT security.
- Possession of relevant cyber security certifications like CISSP, CEH, GCIA, GCIH, GCFE, etc.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards such as IEC 62443, NERC CIP, NESA, OG86.
- Recognized as an authority in OT environments.
