Job description
How will you contribute?
- Ensure that a best-in-class HSE performance is achieved within the operation and that a culture of safety is embedded in everything we do.
- Maintain the training matrix, ensuring it is populated with the correct, up to date data and that the outputs are fully communicated.
- Ensure all induction and associated training is completed within designated timescales for new starters.
- Embed and live the culture of the site and actively participate in developing an open and honest environment.
- Responsible for overseeing training team, initial and ongoing development and motivation of the team ensuring that they consistently meet objectives set.
- Must be proactive in undertaking training analysis seeking improvements in process / methods of operating.
- Designing and developing new and innovative training and supporting materials
- Ensure all working procedures maintain legal compliance and are clearly defined and cascaded, with regular reviews to ensure effectiveness.
- Responsible for the achievement of Key Performance Indicators and delivering a high level of on time, customer service.
- Ensuring all necessary resources are available for training to take place.
- Giving feedback on any identified problems in the training content and/or process
- Reviewing and adjusting training methods as appropriate
- Effectively communicate to all stakeholders surrounding training requirements
- Undertaking direct training of colleagues
- Supporting the People and Operations Team to review further management development / needs.

- Must be able to demonstrate the commitment, enthusiasm and flexibility to work various shift patterns which are able to respond to customer demand.
- The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of the interaction between their own department and other key functions such as Operations, People and Finance
