Job description
- In consultation with the Group Financial Controller, review financial systems and controls with a key focus on increasing the efficiency of the financial processes
- Assist in the improvement of financial reporting and analysis for all parts of the business
- Preparation of monthly financial results and KPIs
- Ownership of the month end process, including journal preparation and posting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure financial and audit requirements are met
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and other regulatory requirements as required
- Support the GFC in maintaining and strengthening internal controls via development and documentation of business processes and financial policies
- Provide support and guidance to members of the finance team and overseeing team capacity and capability
- Support the GFC in other ad-hoc projects/business needs as and when necessary
