Manufacturing Administrator

An excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Administrator to join a fun and friendly family company based in Shirley, to support their wide variety of customers within the project administration team.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders; customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Responding to telephone and email queries in an efficient manner
- Sales order processing using bespoke in-house software
- Preparing a variety of paperwork for large-scale commercial surveys and installations
- Data input and analysis using MS Excel
- Manipulating data to allow importing and exporting of data between various software and systems
- Calculating material and part requirements from work schedules
- Processing orders with supply chain for products and materials
- Monitoring supply chain lead times and delivery dates to ensure deadlines are met
- Printing, organising and distributing manufacture files and labels
- Working with the Production Manager in maintaining stock control and re-order levels
- Tracking costs and negotiating with suppliers to ensure budgets are met
- Assisting with Goods In administration, checking delivery manifests and liaising with suppliers any missing / damaged items as necessary
- Assisting with Goods Out administration, preparing delivery manifests and coordinating collection of goods
- Assisting the daily activities of the Operations and Manufacturing departments as required
Skills / Experience Required:
- Confident communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Intermediate / advanced user of MS Excel, use of formulas for data manipulation and input efficiencies
- Proficient in MS Office packages
- Fast learner with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pro-active with the ability to work within tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Process driven and great work ethic
