KYC Team Leader
Northampton

As a Barclays KYC Team Leader, you will have an exciting chance to be working as part of Barclays Payments Merchant Services (BPMS) who are a Voice & Back Office processing team. Within this role you will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service to clients and potential clients. Achieving performance metrics, whilst driving continuous improvement and delivering the expected results will be part of your role. You will also act as key member of the Leadership team, engaging across Barclays Payments Merchant Services.

What will you be doing?

•    Managing the daily operations of a Team, including effective resource planning, setting and meeting performance targets for speed, efficiency and quality
•    Building and maintaining a successful team, achieving performance metrics, whilst identifying continuous improvement
•    Ensuring all relevant communications, records and data are updated and recorded
•    Reviewing performance and identifying training needs
•    Being responsible for coaching, motivating and retaining staff 
•    Taking ownership of personal development, taking advantage of training opportunities to support your progression

What we’re looking for:

•    Ability to support a Team through change and deliver high performance
•    Stakeholder management and engagement of key stakeholders up to Senior level
•    Excellent people skills with a  focus on team working within a high performing environment
•    Takes accountability for resolving issues that threaten delivery


Skills that will help you in the role

•    Knowledge of Banking products and services and associated legislation e.g. Code of Banking Practice
•    Knowledge of regulatory and risk requirements relating to customers

Where will you be working?

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
