Job description

Meridian is working with a UK Wide company to appoint a Governance Officer based in Harlow (CM19).

- Salary: up to £27,269pa– dependant on experience
- Hybrid Role
- Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm

As our Governance Officer, you will work alongside the complaints team to review and oversee remedial processes changes that have been implemented to ensure company is following new standards. .

Using the corrective & preventive (CAPA) recommendations , you will work with the different departments to support all company policies and procedures are designed, implemented and followed to ensure comply with regulatory, professional and customer requirements. You will work as a team to monitor processes whilst working alongside the Quality & patient safety team to deliver the best service and improve patient care.

As a Governance Officer, will need to have proven experience in quality assurance within a medical / NHS framework or investigations background. Solid understanding of corrective and preventive action plans alongside a clear communication and data driven mind.

Governance Officer: Key accountability's

- Maintain high data quality standards by ensuring that data entered onto systems is accurate, complete and up to date
- Develop and produce information and performance reports as required.
- Support across the Division on all aspects of patient safety, incidents, risk management, patient experience
- Supporting staff, managers and clinical governance teams, ensuring the Division is compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Support with Care Quality Commission Standards and Trust policies and procedures
- Supporting with facilitation of clinical audits including proposals, QIPS presentations.
- Review, extract, analyse and present data from a range of systems
