Process Engineer required for our Client based in Stonehouse, Stroud, GL10 - Permanent opportunity - upto £45,000 depending on experience - Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 16.45pm and Fridays 7.45am to 12.00pm - Free parking, Pension and 31 Holidays including bank holidays

My client is a specialist manufacturer of engineered products are looking for a Process Engineer to join their existing team. As a Process Engineer your role with focus on optimising the manufacturing processes, applying lean manufacturing techniques and lead continuous improvement projects.

They are looking for someone who can learn quickly, identify patterns, and demonstrate the ability to pick up both CAD and CAM packages. This role would suit an experience CNC machinist who is looking for the next role to develop and take on new responsibilities

The role will involve:

• Work closely with senior engineers and managers to analyse and optimise manufacturing processes
• Utilise CAD software to create and modify detailed design drawings
• Implement CAM techniques to translate design specifications into efficient manufacturing processes
• Support engineering team with setting up milling machines
• Identify patterns and trends in process data to drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist in the development and execution of engineering experiments and tests
• Contribute to the documentation of standard operating procedures and best practices
• Engage in cross-functional communication to support various engineering projects

In order to be considered for this role:

• Currently working within Engineering or Manufacturing
• Be prepared to be hands on 80% shop floor and 20% office
• Set and operate CNC Milling machines with Fanuc and G Codes
• Wanting to learn and develop within the company and not afraid to take on challenges
• Able to work ad part of a small team
• Good level of maths required
