PostgreSQL Database Administrator - CyberSecurity Start Up - Cambridge
Are you an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity in Cambridge? Join a very exciting cyber security start up with an exceptional engineering team, working on cutting-edge Cloud Services.
Database Administrator - Responsibilities: - Manage and optimize AWS RDS instances
- Monitor and profile application queries
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team for future capacity planning
- Work with Python engineers to design application models and write performant queries
Database Administrator - Requirements: - Proven experience with PostgreSQL for web applications
- Successful track record in designing scalable web services
- Expertise in tuning and optimizing SQL queries, indices, and other performance techniques
- Understanding of caching, and performance tradeoffs
Database Administrator - Bonus Skills: - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with Django
- Designing and deploying cloud services at scale, especially in AWS RDS
