Job description
Are you an experienced warehouse operative? Can you provide us with references and address history covering the last 5 years (no gaps longer than 28 days) and are you happy to have a criminal record check? Warehouse Operatives required for basic picking / packing role in an ambient warehouse in Bedminster – BS3
- £11.90 per hour
- Easily accessible by walking or public transport - 10 minutes’ walk from Parson Street train station
- 40 hours per week, weekly paid
- Working hours 0600 & 1400 starts on a weekly rotating shift pattern
- 5 days per week with 2 days off – this will involve working at weekends
- Regular extra shifts for overtime available
- Free meal and drinks provided each shift
About the role
- Downloading picks from computer system
- Use of hand scanner for order picking
- Picking the order and packing into trolley as you go
- Manual handling, bending and reaching
The right candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Basic computer/keyboards skills
- Good communication skills
- Happy to consent to a DBS (criminal record check) and 5 years of referencing prior to starting work
