Job description
What you will do in your working day
The apprentice will work as part of a team to:
- Maintain banknote sorting machines
- Undertake inspection and maintenance of destruction equipment
- Complete repair works on equipment in the laboratory
- Update and maintain process instruction and technical documentation relating to engineering systems and parts
- Undertake problem solving and root cause analysis of equipment / systems / machinery when required
- Undertake training to meet the Bank’s requirements
The training you will be getting
Study the Installation and maintenance electrician level 3 apprenticeship. Please note that the training provider is based in Dagenham and that you will attend the provider’s site 1 day a week.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Based on performance on the apprenticeship, there is a possibility of a permanent role on offer.
