Job description
Business Process Automation Engineer.
Location: Remote EMEA (travel to offices should be expected for a week at least once a quarter)
Our client is an elite fin-tech who provides business services to world leading financial institutions. They are looking for an Automation Engineer to identify and optimise work flows and automate business-critical processes. Creating an integrated system and tool set for automation by collaborating across teams identifying areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Identify areas for automation by business process analysis and cross team collaboration.
- Design and engineer to production automated solutions with JIRA and other tools.
- Enhance team productivity through use of the Atlassian Suite; JIRA, Confluence
- Engineer reliable work flows through automation.
- Provide a centre of excellence and support for the firm on JIRA and the Atlassian suite.
- Use iPaas platforms (Workato or Times) for integration and data flow management.
- Develop UI experiences (ReTool) which linke with backend systems and support this.
- Document automation and workflows for transparency and clarity.
- Pioneer automation best practices by staying up to date with developments.
Requirements
- In-depth expertise in Jira and proficient use of the Atlassian software suite.
- Knowledgeable in using platforms like Airtable, Retool, and various iPaaS solutions including Workato and Zapier.
- Capable of rapid delivery of projects, while maintaining scalability and compliance in solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with experience in dissecting complex processes.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
- Meticulously detail-oriented, aiming to produce high-quality automation solutions.
- Over five years of experience in process automation, specialising in Jira.
- Skilled in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript for bespoke automation tasks.
- Possession of Atlassian certifications is advantageous.
