Job description
A Sales and Accounts Administrator is required to join a specialist company that designs, supplies and installs commercial catering equipment.
THE JOB:
Overall, you will help the sales team to work efficiently and effectively whilst also performing important accounts administration duties. This includes:
- Place orders with suppliers
- Checking invoices and dealing with queries promptly
- Ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely and effective manner
- Request statements from suppliers and ensure supplier accounts are reconciled regularly in preparation for the payment runs
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
- Place service calls for warranty issues / breakdowns of equipment
- Provide sales team with effective admin support
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues to ensure a collaborative service.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous administration / support experience
- Experience with accounting software, ideally Xero
- Able to work independently with no supervision
- Very well organised, flexible, and enjoy the challenge of supporting a wide range of people.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £26,000 - £30,000, dependent on experience
- 20 days holiday + public holidays
- Pension
