ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching assistant for a nursery in the Harlow area. This will be a full time position starting ASAP!
The nursery are able to provide training to trainee Teaching Assistants as well as being able to accommodate experienced staff. The role will include working with groups of children as well as working 1:1 with children with various Special Educational Needs.
Depending on performance the nursery would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

- Type of work - Teaching Assistant supporting children with SEN
- Contract or position start date - ASAP
- Duration / Likely Duration - ongoing
- Contract or position end date ASAP - Until end of academic year, possibly extended
- Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary - Perm
- Full time/part time - Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £70 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 months experience working with children in a similar role
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
